He helped our club achieve success for almost forty years. From September of 1975 till December of 2013 he was a member of the White-Blues medical department. Physiatrist Pavlo Shvydkyi, who worked alongside him, has told about his colleague:
- Valeriy Yevlantiev was a very good person. He started working for the main squad in 1977. He was a really high profile specialist, decent and kind man, who was always ready to help. He was a true friend and I always could rely on him.
We worked 12 months a year at the training complex with Valeriy and almost never lived at home. That lasted more than 35 years. His death was unexpected as he was fine… And then he just didn’t wake up… I can speak only well of him.
