- Frankly speaking I was sure that we would defeat Thun.

- My task was to play as right winger.

- Thun are good team, but they didn’t have good scoring chances. I think we have deserved win.
- What did Oleh Blokhin say after the game?
- He congratulated us and reminded that on October 27 we are to face FC Illichivets Mariupol.
- How difficult will it be to defeat Thun away?
- Of course we mustn’t relax, it’s our first win within the Europa League, but still I don’t see anything special about our opponents. Our task is to demonstrate good play.
- Has Dynamo play changed comparing to two previous games?
- I don’t think so. We defeated FC Metalurh Donetsk 9:1 and FC Arsenal Kyiv 2:0. We created many scoring chances against Thun and played confidently for defense.
- Two weeks ago Dynamo faced SK Rapid Wien and though after the break the score was 2:0 for Kyivans the game ended in a draw. Did you worry for the final score this time?
- I didn’t. In Wien Dynamo faced some bad luck and relaxed too early. Draw against Rapid was an accident, but game against Thus was logical.
- Oleh Blokhin has stated that crisis never existed in Dynamo and if it did you are over it…
- I hope so. Our results used to be poor, but latest wins give confidence. Actually we have a lot of goal-scoring opportunities in every game.
- It has been decided that Ukraine national team will face France at the NSC Olimpiyskyi. Do you like this idea?
- I think it’s good. If 70 thousand spectators come to the stadium it will be a festal occasion for the whole country.
- Ukrainians are not very optimistic about playoffs…
- What is their place in FIFA World Rankings? (Smiling.) Of course they have very good team, but the winner will be defined on the pitch. I think we mustn’t give up as we also have good performers. So we respect our opponent, but we aren’t afraid of France.
- What must Ukraine do to outplay France?
- We must score and win. I think our head coach Mykhailo Fomenko will tell us what to do. We feel that we have a chance to qualify for the World Cup.
