Ruslan Neshcheret: “Really glad to be back”

- Ruslan, aren’t you ready to work with no restrictions yet?

- Not yet. I’ve only started training individually with Mykhailo Mykhailov.

- How did you get injured? What was the recovery process like?

- As we were warming up before the game against Desna, I felt pain in my arm. It turned out I got a bicep rupture. I had a surgery in Munich in April. Then I was wearing a removable plaster cast for about two weeks. After that I returned home and worked individually.

- Who was supporting you throughout this tough period?

- Everyone was – family, coaches, teammates. It was very tough. Basically I didn’t touch the ball for two months.

- What kind of restrictions do you still have?

- I’m not allowed to fall yet. Before every session I do stretching under the guidance of Mykhailo Mykhailov. When coach is free, he works individually with me.

- Is being here beneficial for your reconditioning in terms of psychological state?

- Sure, it’s much more fun here. I’m really glad to be back. I missed the ball.

- When will you get back to full-fledged work?

- Doctors say I’ll have to work individually for two-three more weeks.

- Did you watch Euro-2020? Whom did you support beside Ukraine?

- Our guys have done a great job. I was also supporting Italy.
