- We’ve won deservedly. Unfortunately we don’t have tournament motivation at the moment. It’s good our players took the game seriously. I’m thankful to them for that.
- What can you say about performance of Mykyta Kravchenko?
- Many people didn’t know we have this player. He played in this position in Mykolaiv and acted pretty well.
- What about conditions of Viktor Tsyhankov?
- Sometimes youngsters can play great and sometimes can’t. I see the atmosphere in our team. Everyone helps them. Viktor can make headway. Unfortunately he often suffers from injuries. He recovered from the last one only two weeks ago. It doesn’t matter to me whether a player is young or not. If youngster plays better than someone else, he’ll take the field.
- Why doesn’t Derlis Gonzalez play?
- It’s about competition for starting spot. Everyone has a chance. Derlis has missed quite a lot due to injury.
- What do you think of the new league format with 12 teams and two stages?
- I tried to prove that there mustn’t be less than 16 or at least 14 teams in Ukraine. Games in Okhtyrka and Mykolaiv have proved that when top clubs come there, people are always excited. We can give the First League teams a year, help them with infrastructure and try to have at least 14 UPL participants next season.
