Olexiy MYKHAILYCHENKO (Dynamo head coach in 2002-2004):
- First of all I want to congratulate Ihor Mykhailovych on his birthday. I know that he directs all efforts to the native club, so I would also like to congratulate his family. Of course it was a pleasure for me that we started the new stage of our life together: he became Dynamo president and me – head coach. I’m thankful to him for our cooperation. He has a constant desire to make the club better, sets ambitious aims and believes in his team. I wish him good health, success, wisdom, patience and wins.
Yozhef SABO (Dynamo head coach in 2004-2005 and in 2007):
- Ihor Surkis is a true professional, who really loves football. He spares nothing for the team. I know that as I used to work with him. It’s a pity that Dynamo don’t gladden him over the last years. Let’s hope that under his guidance Kyivans will move forward. When I was the White-Blues head coach we signed many players. Some of them performed well and some didn’t. Anyway I can say that Ihor Surkis is a real football man. With all my heart I congratulate him on his anniversary!
Leonid BURIAK (Dynamo head coach in 2005):
- I’ve been acquainted with Ihor Surkis for more that thirty years already. Football is life for his family. And that’s not an exaggeration.
Once Ihor Mykhailovych said: “It’s impossible to explain why I love this team and why I’m ready to give life for it…”. Trust him to say that.
He is inside man for all football society. Once he gave his gold medal to supporters after Dynamo triumph in Ukrainian League. Do you know other examples of such behavior?
We worked together for a short while, but that time was enough for me to see how much energy, health and time he puts into his native team. It instills confidence in Dynamo success.
This day I want to congratulate Ihor Mykhailovych Surkis, who is a tolerant, high-minded and decent person! I wish him good health, courage and family wellbeing!

- With great pleasure I congratulate Ihor Mykhailovych on his birthday and wish him success. Unfortunately Dynamo gladden us with positive results and achievements not very often in these latter days, but I’m sure that they are on the right track. I think everything will be fine soon. First of all I wish Ihor Surkis good health. He cares about his team very much and takes everything to his heart. It was a pleasure for me to work with him. He is a true professional.

- Dynamo have a great president, who adores football and does everything for his team. Ihor Surkis has created perfect conditions for players and coaching staff. I wish him good health and hope that he’ll cope with all difficulties. Let his family be happy and healthy and let Dynamo win European trophy.
Yuri SEMIN (Dynamo head coach in 2008-2009 and in 2011-2012):
- I know Ihor Surkis very well and I wish happiness and health for his team and success for Dynamo. We created a good team in 2009. President supported the head coach a lot. Ihor Mykhailovych loves his club. He’s proud of its history. I’m sure that great wins are waiting for the White-Blues. After failures Ihor Surkis doesn’t give up. He is a very persistent man. I would also like to say a few words about his family. It’s a great happiness for a person to be surrounded by native people. Let them be happy together!
Oleh BLOKHIN (Dynamo head coach since 2012):
President falls over himself for FC Dynamo Kyiv. I can’t imagine Ihor or Hryhoriy Surkis, who also used to be the president of our club, acting elsewise. Different situations occur, even disputed ones, but that’s okay. It’s comfortable for me to work with Ihor Mykhailovych. Of course criticism exists as results demonstrated by our team are not satisfactory, but that’s absolutely natural.
