Metalurh Donetsk will travel to Kyiv for the second time in the past three weeks, hopeful to take revenge of their 1st leg last four Cup defeat 1-2 in Kyiv.
Decent opponent
Is there anything to beware on Saturday? “One should always beware any opponent. Metalurh have qualified players on the roster, who had gone through European leagues. The team’s current place in the table is in disagreement with their potential. Their corners and free kicks may poise a real threat. This is the part where we have to be vigilant about”, said Yuriy Semin at the open training session this Thursday.
Strong motivation
With Dynamo having won all the league fixtures this season, are there any worries the players may satiate their desire to win? “This should not happen to my lads. They are all highly motivated. We do no win easily and every single game is of great significance to us. We do not look ahead and always prepare for the upcoming game.”
Back in action
Romanchuk, Mykhalyk, Shovkovskyy and Kravets all have overcome their injuries, so the squad is likely to undergo some personnel changes.
No right to go wrong
With Shaktar legging one point behind Dynamo and having one game in hand, Mircea Lucescu said another slip will cost his team the Ukrainian title. Yuriy Semin thinks White-Blues are in an equivalent position when one false step will mean “death”.
