The U11 team of the Dynamo Youth Football School named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi (players born in 2015) became the winners of the international New Vision Grassroots Cup which took place in Georgia.
A total of 25 teams participated in the tournament and it was the “white-blues” who proved to be the strongest.
On their way to the gold medals the young Dynamo players defeated their peers from Albatros in the semifinals and Portugal’s Braga in the final. Both matches ended in convincing 5:1 victories for Dynamo.
The impressive and solid performances of the Kyiv side did not go unnoticed. Maksym Tereshchenko was named Best defender of the tournament, Oleksandr Kovtun was recognized as Best forward and Dmytro Pudzyrei was awarded Best player of the competition.
It is worth noting that Dynamo U12 (players born in 2014) also triumphed at the New Vision Grassroots Cup in their age category.
