Dynamo U12 – bronze medalist of the International Youth Tournament Sigismondi

The Dynamo U12 youth team (players born in 2014) returned from the prestigious International Youth Tournament Sigismondi with bronze medals.

The competition took place in the Italian capital, Rome, from May 30 to June 2. A total of 48 teams from different countries participated in the tournament. In the first stage, the participants were divided into 12 groups of four teams each. The team coached by Roman Peretyatko and Yevhen Yastrebinskyi was placed in Group D and confidently advanced through the group stage, recording three victories with an impressive goal difference of 17:0.

Dynamo – Pontassieve – 7:0

DF Academy – Dynamo – 0:2

With a perfect record and first place in the group, the White-Blues advanced to the playoffs.

In the Round of 16, the Kyiv side faced Bayer Leverkusen from Germany and confidently defeated their opponents 3:0.

In the quarterfinals, Dynamo left no chance for Scotland’s Hibernian, cruising to a 6:0 victory.

Only in the semifinal was the Ukrainian team stopped by England’s Everton. The hard-fought match ended with a 2:1 victory for the English side.

However, in the third-place match, Dynamo once again demonstrated their high quality and confidently defeated Denmark’s Copenhagen 5:0.

As a result, Dynamo U12 finished the International Youth Tournament Sigismondi in third place and won the bronze medals of the tournament.
