The U12 team of the Dynamo Youth Football School named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi (players born in 2014) returned from Georgia where they competed in the New Vision Grassroots Cup.
A total of 24 teams took part in the tournament and the “white-blues” successfully went all the way to lifting the championship trophy.
In the group stage Dynamo recorded dominant victories without conceding a single goal (Golden Boy - 10:0, 35th School - 7:0). In the round of 16 our boys confidently defeated their peers from Batumi (4:0), beat Iberia in the quarterfinal (3:1), overcame Serval in the semifinals (4:1) and in the decisive match left no chances for Viking winning convincingly 7:1.
Dynamo players were also honored with individual awards. Hordii Naumov was named Best defender, Mark Hrebinskyi was recognized as Best forward and Kyrylo Sukhov was awarded Best player of the tournament.
