The international youth tournament Tampa Cup-2026 has concluded in Romania, featuring the U9 team of Dynamo Kyiv (players born in 2017).
The competition was held in an unusual format: each club simultaneously fielded two teams while the final result was determined by combining scores of both matches. Dynamo brought 16 players to the tournament, divided into two squads of eight players each.
During first two matchdays young Dynamo players, coached by Volodymyr Anikieiev and Denys Holokolosov, delivered an impressive performance. The Kyiv side recorded nine wins and one draw, finishing first in their group and advancing to playoffs.
On the third and final day of competition White-Blues played four more matches and reached the tournament final.

Quarterfinal: FC Dynamo Kyiv – Vitória SC – 3:2
Semifinal: FC Dynamo Kyiv – Torino FC – 4:3
Final: FC Dynamo Kyiv – FK Partizan – 3:4
In the final Dynamo narrowly lost to Serbian side Partizan in a hard-fought encounter, ultimately finishing as silver medalists of the Tampa Cup-2026.
During the official awards ceremony tournament organizers also honored best players in several categories. Dynamo player Artem Ilchenko received an individual award as the tournament’s top scorer.
