He was signed by the White-Blues in May of 2008. Since then he doesn’t let supporters stumble at his loyalty to our club.
Being a kid Vukojevic learned how to play football under care of his father who performed for a modest local team from Bjelovar. After school he practiced a lot.
For two seasons Ognjen featured for NK Belovar. In 2003 he signed his first contract with Slaven Belupo from Koprivnitsa.
Later Croatian halfback played for LierseSK and GNK Dinamo Zagreb, after which he joined FC Dynamo Kyiv.
Speaking about his career in Kyiv Vukojevic stated: “There were many different matches over the last years. I remember us featuring in the UEFA Cup semifinal and winning the UPL. I’ll always remember my first appearance for Dynamo against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and first goal I netted in Ukrainian Premier League against FC Kharkiv”.
Ognjen is optimistic about his future:
