On Friday, February 16, FC Dynamo Kyiv played their ninth friendly at the training camp in Turkey. The White-Blues faced the Moldovan side FC Petrocub Hincesti.
The game ended in a draw. The teams exchanged goals in the first half.
The game started poorly for Dynamo. Petrocub took a set piece and Platica sent the ball into the net with his shoulder – 0:1. After such a cold shower Kyivans took the ball under control and began attacking. Our team applied pressing, but Petrocub didn’t let Dynamo create much.
But halfway through the first half Olexandr Shovkovskyi’s men succeeded. Diachuk found Supriaha with a fabulous pass, Vladyslav received the ball and hit the far corner – 1:1. Benito was quite active. Defender cleared the ball after his shot and then goalkeeper coped with his attempt.
Tsarenko won a promising free kick, Shaparenko took it, but missed just a bit.
The start of the second half was similar – without too many scoring opportunities. Both sides mostly attempted from distance. Such a calm tempo was interrupted by Dynamo sharp attack, but after cross into the penalty area, nobody managed to send the ball into the net.
Morhun had to demonstrate his skills after the shot by Clescenko – our keeper grabbed the ball. Petrocub tried to use set pieces, but those weren’t effective.
By the way, Dynamo coach didn’t use so many substitutions in this game as in previous ones. Obviously he’s picking the lineup for official games already.
