FC Dynamo Kyiv played their eighth friendly at the training camp in Turkey against the Romanian Liga II side FC Politehnica Iasi.
The day before the White-Blues flattened FK Sileks 4:0 (hat trick by Olexandr Karavayev and goal by Anton Tsarenko). This time a number of youngsters got their chance in the starting lineup.
The match started with moment of silence paying tribute to victims of horrible earthquakes in Turkey.
Dynamo were quite active in the first half, but Politehnica had the best chance. In the 11th minute Harrison hit the bar after corner.
Kyivans responded with the shot by Nazar Voloshyn, who entered the penalty area, but sent the ball wide.
The White-Blues opened the score in the 32nd minute. Andriyevskyi found Dubinchak in the left side, Vladyslav passed to the box and Nazar Voloshyn hit the target – 1:0.
Late in the first half Supriaha had a great opportunity in one-on-one situation, but didn’t cope with goalkeeper.
The first part of the second half was quite equal, but in the 65th minute Dynamo increased their lead. Anton Tsarenko used the misunderstanding between Politehnica defenders and made it 2:0!
Shepelev had a chance to score another one from a promising position, but hit the crossbar too.
Politehnica responded with a decent strike by Martac, but Ihnatenko, who substituted Morhun, parried that.
So, it’s 2:0. Dynamo are going to play the next friendly on February 14 – against FC Pakhtakor Tashkent.
