FC Dynamo Kyiv faced KF Shkendija from North Macedonia in the sixth friendly at the training camp in Turkey.
This time Mircea Lucescu continued testing different lineup options including the 17-year-old forward Matviy Ponomarenko and 16-year-old right winger Kyrylo Pashko. Before the staring whistle, everyone paid tribute to victims of the horrible disaster in Turkey and Syria – terrible earthquakes that took lives of thousands of people.
Dynamo could take the lead early in the game – Harmash attempted after free kick cross from Andriyevskyi, but Shkendija goalkeeper saved.
Afterwards, Dynamo mostly maintained possession, but Shkendija responded with sharp attacks making our players foul.
Later our opponents created two great scoring opportunities. Hasani tried with a header, but the ball went a little bit wide. In the 30th minute, Bejtulai hit the post after corner.
Anyway, late in the first half, Shkendija keeper’s mistake resulted in goal by Dynamo. Harmash intercepted, found Lonwijk and Justin opened the score.
In the second half, Dynamo changed practically the whole lineup. Shortly after the break Neshcheret coped with the shot by Velija from close range.
In a while, Hasani attempted again, but Neshcheret parried his strike spectacularly. Later Morhun cleared the free kick by Hasani.
So, it’s 1:0 for Dynamo in this match.
On February 11, our tea, will face another team from North Macedonia – FK Sileks.
