The day after the friendly match against Veres Dynamo players held two training sessions at their camp in Turkey.
The morning session took place at the hotel where players had an aerobics workout. This was not the first such session during the camp as it helps footballers stay active and recover after heavy workloads.
The evening session was held on the training pitch. After the warm-up outfield players were split into two groups. Those who took part in the friendly against Veres competed in tennisball games in groups of three.
The most successful team was made up of Vitalii Buialskii, Oleksandr Karavaiev and Vladyslav Dubinchak. First they defeated the trio of Brazhko, Shaparenko and Guerrero, and then overcame the trio of Thiare, Diallo and Ogundana.
At the same time players who had recently recovered from injuries or did not feature in the match against Veres worked on finishing and one-on-one situations with goalkeepers.
This group also included Andriy Yarmolenko who has moved on from running and recovery work in the gym to ball training. After the session Yarmolenko continued working on his shooting individually.
Two training sessions are also scheduled in the team’s program for both Saturday and Sunday.
