FC Dynamo Kyiv second training week in Austria is underway.
On Monday the White-Blues had a morning work-out session at the gym. Players did a number of strength exercises. They were divided into groups. While one was doing stretching outside, another was hitting the gym.
Ihor Horbach was training individually as he got injured in the first friendly of the training camp.
Meanwhile Serhiy Buletsa has rejoined the team. In the afternoon he was working without any restrictions.
Andriy Yarmolenko and Mykola Shaparenko were training separately in the evening. Doctors let them have a rest day, so they were doing jogging.
Before the evening session, Mircea Lucescu did another motivational speech and explained players the training plan.
The head coach acknowledged that the exercise load at the training camp is intense, but that’s how you lay foundation for the season.
Mister also emphasized that the next friendly will be against the team of totally different level compared to previous opponents. The White-Blues will face acting champions of Switzerland.
The evening session was rich on game and tactics exercises. Outfield players worked separately from goalkeepers for quite a while. They focused on possession and teamwork issues. One of the exercises was about hitting small goal made of training bars. Later the team practiced shots on target opposing goalkeepers.
On Tuesday, Dynamo will have two more sessions while on Wednesday morning they’ll leave for the Swiss town of Biel to face BSC Young Boys.
